Quite astonishing how the great thinkers identify the issues and challenges (along with possible solutions and remedies) - Peter Drucker being no exception. If we, the managers, listened, learnt, then applied the principles and philosophies in our daily life (social and work life alike), some of our current challenges may not have been, or may have been mitigated.
For me, the lesson is that we should not try and reinvent the wheel, we should look to the history, synthesise and apply.... this I think, is something we in South Africa, and also on the wider global stage, should embrace.
